Wood’s Door team has grown over the past several years adding training partners and developing personnel to keep up with all those who wish to take our original idea and expand for us.  It is flattering to see others take what we have created and change or add things to make it their “own” prop kit, but don’t be fooled that it is the original Wood’s FE Door Kit.  We are the O.G. and leading supplier of Forcible Entry Door Kits sold in the world.  With door kits in almost all fifty states and internationally in Japan, South Korea, and Canada.  We stand behind our kits 100% and have amazing support from top departments and training groups around the US. 

Our story started like many others with being frustrated with FE props, the costs and lack of realism training on them.  Nothing against the full metal fabricated doors as they have their place, but to have a prop at every station or district would not be financially feasible for them.  So, we put in the time and effort to come up with an idea that could affordable, maneuverable, reliable, teambuilding, and ship on a single pallet to stations and districts nationwide.  Honestly it was a selfish adventure to start because we wanted a prop at our station and then it turned into something that we saw as a need for the entire fire service.  To say that it has gone somewhere we never thought it would, would be an understatement. 

One of the greatest benefits of our prop that many overlook is the teambuilding that comes with the kit.  Departments across the US send us pictures of build outs at all times of day and night and then go straight into getting sets and reps.  Nothing makes us happier than to see the pride and effort that goes into some of the props that are out there.     

With over five years of delivering props, we are humbled and blessed to have been shown so much support and feedback form the Fire Service.  We will continue to listen to feedback and the needs of the fire service to provide the best forcible entry training props in the county.
